Welcome to Meirinkan
Welcome to the official website of the Bedford Kendo Club - Meirinkan. The club has been established since 2011 here in Bedford under the guidance of Sensei Matt Marley. We are a member of the British Kendo Association and offer a warm welcome to new beginners throughout the year.
Practice
We practice twice per week and have a thriving membership of adults and juniors. The membership is open to all from the ages of 8 to 98.

Our aim as a club is to allow members to practice kendo and for everyone to improve their skills, knowledge and understanding of the art. The club is a non-profit making organisation and no one is paid for their services.
